HAMBRGR Hamilton Restaurant Photographer
Last week I had the opportunity to shoot a very cool little restaurant called Hambrgr that just opened up in downtown Hamilton. I was contracted through Wieske Design who I have done quite a few jobs with before. If your interested you can take a look here! This restaurant had just the best vibe and during peak hours would be a great atmosphere. This was my first job as a Hamilton restaurant photographer!
I just loved this spot in the restaurant. The black and white photos of the burgers gave such an authentic feel to the place! The vintage lights tied in with the brick and wood keeping with the rustic feel.
The garage door was such a smart use of space, converting the restaurant into a sort of patio during nice weather. And what is better than having a burger and fries on a gorgeous day!
The chalkboard wall features were a very cool addition. They celebrate the restaurant as well as Hamilton! The downtown is very loyal and so supportive which is amazing to see!
Since it was such a small space I made sure to do a couple of panoramas. I wanted to have at least a few pictures that showed the restaurant as a whole. I didn’t want an overly panoramic look however so I cropped them to a more appropriate size.
I loved all the little details Wieske Design considered. From the barn board bar to the old beer taps!
And of course we couldn’t leave without trying one of their Morning Glory burgers. A patty, bacon, cheese and an egg sandwiched between two savoury waffles. It was incredible! I wish that was my breakfast every day!
A big thank you to Wieske Design for the opportunity to shoot such a cool space, it was a lot of fun!
