Ancaster Interior Design Photographer – One Room Challenge
One of the very talented designers I always love shooting for is Coco and Jack. Alyssa’s designs are so unique and unconventional yet beautiful and completely appropriate for whomever she is designing for. This was a bit of a different shoot, however! Alyssa entered the One Room Challenge and redid her son Jacks Room for it. The end result was adorable!
How adorable is this chalkboard wall! Love the fact that is a feature kids would be all over but also looks so cute! These floors were also to die for! They were finished by hand in a custom colour. They turned out beautifully!
The little bed from Restoration Hardware was also so cute! The assortmant of plaid in the pillow and blanket was so boyish but classic! Its the perfect little boy bed to tuck under that angled wall.
This desk was beautiful! And so functional! It will be something Jack uses for many years! I loved the lower case j on the wall as well. It is totally masculine yet completely appropriate for a little boy. The night lamp also was one of my favourite touches! It was a replica vintage headlamp. Just perfect for a boys room.
You can already see how much he enjoys it!
This bookshelf was another one of my favourites! It was so practical in that it allows you to neatly store all the toys kids love to collect while keeping it looking beautiful. That rich navy colour also helps a great deal!
One of the most unique and interesting choices Alyssa went with was the wall colour! This rich green grey really was stunning. It was completely unconventional but just totally suited a little boy and the rest of furnishes chosen.
All together I think the room was so well done! The space was not an easy one to work with and I would think designing a beautiful boys room would also hold its challenges. But this room went above and beyond!
