Hamilton Photographer – A little girls nursery

I’m so excited to finally get to share this shoot with you guys! In the fall I was asked by Ashley & Malone to photograph a very special project of theirs. The nursery of the little girl they were expecting! This nursery was designed by my favourite designer Coco & Jack, sponsored by Wayfair, and is featured on Inspired By This! So very exciting all around!

It was a smaller space which made capturing all the beautiful details a little tricky.

This nook was so precious. I love the pom pom curtains, the mouldings and wallpaper as a backdrop for the beautiful furniture. This was the only source of a natural light, a rather small window so lighting the room evenly was a bit of a challenge. All of the white in the space definitely made for a light and bright environment.

This patterned pillow from Studio McGee is perfect, paired with the touch of marble and brass in the lamp its a layering of pattern and colour that was lovely to capture.

This is my favourite overall of the room. I love the combo of the detail of wall paper and moulding along with almost all of the elements from the room. It truly captures the feel of walking in. Lots of layers and textures add depth and interest while the colour palette keeps it appropriate for a little girl.

This crib is such a showstopper. The vintage metal style modernized in a beautiful brass. The X O frames perfectly capture the parents love for their little girl.

These bookshelves are so sweet. Children’s books are often works of art themselves it is such a smart idea to display them. Plus anything to get them reading is great!

Here is Ashley looking gorgeous and breaking in that beautiful glider just in time for her little one to enter the world!
